Fishing and Boat Excursions

We are indeed fortunate to have such a diverse range of species available to us. Some 30+ species are to be had from literally minutes of the MullaghmoreHarbour to 30 miles out. Cartys Fishing Bundoran Tel 086 3903655 offer lake fishing on Lough Melvin and freshwater salmon fishing.

If access was easier to arrange, a visit to Inishmurray Island would be a must. Only 6km separates Inishmurray from the mainland, but there is no regular boat service and the lack of a harbour on the island makes landing subject to weather conditions.  Nearby Rosses Point in Co Sligo, Mr Dara Ewing operates excellent fishing trips.
