The rural countryside surrounding Rowanville Lodge BandB in Sligo provides an excellent location for walkers as it sits in close proximity to outdoor gems such as the mountains, Benbulben and Knocknarea and the serene Trawbawn strand.
Our Sligo Bed and Breakfast is located five minutes from the Atlantic coastline, making it an ideal location for surfers. In addition horseback riding is available just five minutes from the BandB at the Horse Holiday Farm and the Island View Riding Stables.
Sligo is home to several visually stunning golf courses, including County Sligo Golf Club, Strandhill Golf Club and Bundoran Golf Club, all of which are a short drive from Rowanville Guest house.
Visitors to the house here will also be within close proximity to some excellent pubs and restaurants. Nearby attractions: WBYeats grave in Drumcliff, Lissadell, Glencar waterfall, SurfnTurf, Bundoran.

Nearby we have WB Yeats grave whom is immortalised in Drumcliff graveyard. Visit Parkes Castle and take a boat trip on Lough Gill. Mullaghamore, former home of Lord Louis Mount Batten (the Queen's first cousin) is only 10 mins drive from the BandB.
Lissadell House the former home of Constance Markievicz is also only a 10 mins drive. Glencar waterfall, or take a fishing trip to Innishmurray Island. We can book your horseriding in the local Island View Horseriding centre. There are many activities for the energetic holiday or just relax and enjoy the rural peaceful landscape of Ireland.
